George W. Bush is generally seen as a lightweight among those "read into" the UFO program. Two of his inner circle, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld (pictured with Bush above), are considered to be two of the more knowledgeable when it comes to the true UFO story.

President Bush's Vice-president Dick Cheney meets with Laurance Rockefeller. Rockefeller had pressed the Clinton administration to come clean on UFOs, after seeing a documentary on Roswell. He was unsuccessful with Clinton. It is not known if he brought up the UFO subject with Vice-president Cheney who is generally believed to be "read-in" on the UFO program.
